Hayley's back recovery

In her own words...

I used to love going to the gym. Unfortunately, I’d ignored a few niggles and  ended up suffering with excruciating lower back pain and sciatica caused by a herniated disc which was crushing my sciatic nerve. This left me unable to stand up straight and only able to walk aided with a stick. I attended a chiropractor for treatment, which was a massive help. In time, they suggested practicing Pilates to further my recovery. 

Knowing Jenny I asked her to help and have been seeing her for a few months now. She has really helped me regain some movement and strength in my back. It’s great to get my back moving again!

Before each session, Jenny finds out if I’ve had any issues during the week, so she knows what exercises to practice – or avoid – at our next session. 

Each Pilate session has been great fun, as Jenny is a very easy person to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. She explains each exercise perfectly, so as you know how to get most advantage out of the movements. Jenny has left me with a sheet of exercises to practice during the week. I love the little stick drawings she uses to explain each movement!

I have found Jenny’s Pilates sessions a massive help and with her help, look forward to getting back to my old self.
